Dance Photography at Light Space

Taking a look at some of the wonderful dancers and photographers using the Light Space Studio.

The Studio.

Here at Light Space, Leeds, we provide a wide range of facilities in order to capture that perfect shot.

From the Infinity Cove to the Day Light Area dancers are photographed in a variety of styles and lighting.

Let’s start with the Infinity Cove:

An Infinity Cove refers to a large white space with no corners, giving the impression that the space goes on for infinity!

Of course, as dancers, movement is key when being photographed, the Infinity Cove allows the focus to be entirely on you with no distractions like dark corners and inconsistent lighting – which is amazing to ensure dancers are free to be in the moment, no staging or re-dos!

Changing it up between artificial lighting and natural lighting really lets you have it all – the options are endless, and creativity really flies when you have the room to explore. Most photographers that visit us make a bee-line straight for this lovely, light spot and its not hard to see why!
